Từ điển performs search, speech, wordbook, review, comparison, batch lookup, import and export locally. RuaTek does not receive your queries, lists, notes, speech text, audio or exported files from the app.
What the app reads
Từ điển reads text you enter, TXT/CSV lists you explicitly select, its packaged dictionary and KROMA - Retro Phone promotional video, compatible Windows speech components, and its own wordbook, history, review and preference files. Quick Lookup only activates the app; it does not monitor typing, inspect other windows, copy selected text or read the clipboard.
Microphone and speech
Voice search starts only when you press the microphone button. One short recognition session runs through a compatible Windows recognizer and stops after a result or timeout. Từ điển does not record, save, upload or transmit microphone audio. Listen uses a speech voice already installed in Windows.
Network behavior
The installed app makes no dictionary, translation, analytics, telemetry, account, upload, cloud-sync, remote-asset, update-check or background network request. The clearly labeled KROMA video is packaged locally and playback contacts no advertising service. Only when you activate that promotion does Windows hand the fixed URL apps.apple.com/us/app/kroma-retro-phone/id6804494959 to your default browser. Từ điển appends no identifier, dictionary query or personal data. Your browser and Apple govern that visit. A mapped drive, network share or synced folder you choose is governed by Windows and that storage provider.
Sharing and security
RuaTek does not sell app data. The app includes a KROMA promotion but has no third-party advertising or analytics SDK, Advertising ID access, personalized advertising, remote ad loading, impression tracking, click tracking or telemetry. App data is protected by your Windows account and filesystem permissions; notes and exports are not additionally encrypted. Because RuaTek receives no core app data, there is no server-side copy for RuaTek to access, correct or delete. KROMA’s destination privacy information is available at kromaphone.com/legal/privacy.
Retention and deletion
Search history, saved words, notes, tags, collections, review progress and settings stay in the app’s local Windows data folder until you clear them or Windows removes app data. Batch previews last only for the active session. Use Cài đặt & dữ liệu → Clear local wordbook and history… for app-managed data; delete user-selected exports separately.
This website
The public website has no Từ điển account or app telemetry. Its HTTPS hosting provider may use short-lived security and abuse-prevention mechanisms, including cookies such as __cf_bm. The website never receives in-app dictionary activity.
